North Slope is located on the northern slope of the Brooks Range, a mountain range which stretches from west to east across Northern Alaska and into Canada's Yukon Territory.
North Slope is one of North America's most remote and least-disturbed wildernesses. The mountains are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including Dall Sheep, Grizzly Bears and Caribou.
Major attractions are dog-sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, camping, photography and nature watching.
